Nokia Siemens Networks joins Linux Foundation, CGL on the move!

Hi there! no possible excuse… let’s say I was hibernating… well, let’s get back to action! so, did you know that Nokia Siemens Networks has joined Linux Foundation? there is an article on InfoWorld, you can read it here, or the press release from LF here.

Really hope this move helps boosting the adoption of Linux based systems on Carrier grade products, including the development of Linux carrier grade interfaces (which means, improving an ongoing effort on Carrier Grade Linux – CGL).

Linux rocks! ;)

It would be nice if only NSN would permit and even encourage its employees to work directly with Linux :-)

Hi Paulo!, indeed that would be nice… but who knows, maybe one day all employees can freely choose the OS they run on their computer! oh… sorry I was dreaming! :)
